Trice Works is a fully mobile cleaning service, so we bring the professional equipment, products and tools needed to carry out the work at your home, storage location, business premises or another suitable location.
Before confirming your booking, we’ll discuss what is being cleaned, its condition, access to the site and any specific requirements. For more involved restoration or exterior cleaning work, we may also ask for photographs or arrange a pre-visit so that we can assess the job properly before providing a final quotation.
Our aim is to make the process as straightforward as possible while making sure we arrive properly prepared for the work required.
-
Where possible, we ask for access to an outside water supply. We carry our own water storage to support our mobile operation, but larger cleaning jobs can use a significant amount of water, so access to a suitable tap is helpful.
We also have the ability to operate using our own power supply, meaning we are not completely reliant on access to mains electricity.
We’ll confirm what is available when your booking is arranged. If your caravan or motorhome is in storage, for example, simply let us know what facilities the site has and we can plan accordingly.
-
We want our quotations to be fair, clear and based on the work actually required rather than simply applying the same price to every job.
We consider factors including:
The type, size and condition of the vehicle or surface.
The estimated time required to complete the work properly.
Your location and the travelling involved.
The cleaning, restoration or protection products required.
The equipment and access needed to carry out the job safely.
Whether an initial assessment or pre-visit is required.
Whether any follow-up or post-visit work is likely to be needed.
Where photographs are sufficient, we can often provide a quotation remotely. For more complicated work, we may recommend seeing the vehicle or property first.
If we discover something significantly different from what was originally discussed, we’ll speak to you before carrying out additional chargeable work.

Pressure washing can be extremely effective, but using too much pressure or the wrong equipment can damage a surface.
That is why our approach is not simply to use the highest pressure available.
Different materials require different treatments. Block paving, concrete, render, roof materials, plastics and painted surfaces all behave differently, and their age and condition also need to be considered.
We assess the surface first and then select an appropriate combination of pressure, water flow, cleaning product, temperature and technique.
Where high-pressure cleaning is not appropriate, we will use an alternative method rather than risk damaging the surface.
-
Yes, when the correct method is used and the roof is suitable for cleaning.
Roof cleaning requires considerably more care than cleaning a driveway or patio. Before starting work we consider the roof material, its age and condition, safe access, surrounding property and the most appropriate cleaning method.
Not every roof should be pressure washed, and we will not automatically use high pressure simply because it is available.
Where there are signs of damaged, loose or deteriorated materials, we will discuss these with you before proceeding. There may also be circumstances where we recommend repair work or specialist advice before cleaning takes place.
Our priority is to improve the appearance of the property without taking unnecessary risks with the surface underneath.

No. Although some of the principles are similar, caravans and motorhomes contain a much wider mixture of materials than a typical car.
Depending on the vehicle, these can include painted aluminium, GRP/fibreglass panels, plastics, acrylic windows, rubber seals, rooflights, vents, awnings, trims, decals, sealants and numerous joints between different materials.
Each needs to be treated appropriately.
Some strong automotive cleaners, traffic-film removers, solvents and highly alkaline products can be too aggressive for certain leisure-vehicle surfaces. They may affect plastics, acrylic windows, sealants, decals or protective finishes if used incorrectly.
That is why we select products and processes based on the material we are cleaning rather than assuming that a product designed for a car is automatically suitable for a caravan or motorhome.
-
We use professional cleaning and detailing equipment together with products chosen specifically for the surface and type of contamination being treated.
There isn’t one chemical that is suitable for every part of a caravan, motorhome or property.
We consider the surface, condition and type of dirt before deciding what product and method to use. Where necessary, products are diluted appropriately and tested before treating a larger area.
We also take particular care around sensitive areas such as acrylic windows, decals, seals, plastics and older finishes.
Equally important is knowing what not to use. We avoid unnecessarily aggressive chemicals or techniques where there is a risk of damaging the underlying material.
Professional cleaning is as much about understanding the limitations of the surface as it is about knowing how to remove the dirt.

Our Restore & Protect service is designed for leisure vehicles where a standard or deep clean alone will not achieve the desired finish.
Depending on the condition of the vehicle, we may be able to improve:
Dull or oxidised exterior finishes.
Loss of gloss.
General weathering.
Black streaking and ingrained contamination.
Some surface staining.
Tired-looking plastics and trims.
The overall appearance of the vehicle before sale or following purchase.
Where appropriate, this can include specialist cleaning, decontamination, machine polishing and the application of protective products or coatings.
However, restoration does have limits.
Cleaning and polishing cannot repair physical damage, deep scratches, failed paint, cracked plastics, damaged decals, deteriorated sealant or serious UV degradation. In some cases an older decal or finish may also be too fragile to polish safely.
We assess these areas before carrying out restoration work and will explain what we realistically expect to improve.
Once a vehicle has been restored and protected, we can also provide ongoing Maintenance Cleans designed to look after that finish without repeatedly carrying out unnecessary heavy cleaning or polishing.
